The diminutive Monarch Butterfly executes a heroic seasonal migration from a winter habitat in Mexico to summer destinations in northern portions of the United States and Canada. Their survival is threatened by the loss of critical habitat, the Milkweed, due to large scale agribusiness and herbicide application.
